Taman Ujung was built in 1909 by King I Gusti Bagus Jelantik as a place for relaxation and hosting important guests. It was originally called “Taman Sukasada” and featured large ponds, elegant buildings, and lush landscapes. Over the years, the palace has endured natural disasters such as the 1963 eruption of Mount Agung and earthquakes, but it has been beautifully restored to preserve its historical charm.
